The garden was started
in April of 2008. It was always in the plans for my property, but
as it was 700' from the well, and had no storage for water or anything
else, it was a back, BACK burner project.
The purposes of the garden:
1. A specimen garden for Amargosa, Death
Valley as well as the Mojave Desert.
2. Samples of crops that can be grown in
the area.
3. An actual producing garden for food.
4. Hopefully, some day, a garden open to
the public.
